Besides building new instruments, the workshop focuses on repair work and restoration regarding acoustical aspects.
Besides the final setup of bridge and sound post, the ideal position of the bass bar, the string angle, the neck projection and the right choice of strings play an initial role to optimise the sound of the instrument. The structural conditions of each instrument as well as the musicians individual sound visions are also taken into consideration.
As a matter of course, maintenance works and bow rehairs/repairs are part of the service offer as well.
